Interview
I was transitioned from within. When I first interviewed in 2012 the interviews went very well. Very pleasant. Initially there were tests and an online review of your values and how you would respond to situations. This was very simple to take.

Interview
I've interviewed for about 7 positions and many lead to rejections and some ghosted. Got 2 job offers.
What I can tell you after a pretty hefty interview experience: Interviews are easy but too many (each position had like 4 interviews). Typical questions about experiences. The most important questions they ask is what you are doing in the future (and I got asked this every single interview). It is a total stump question because if you say that you plan to pursue higher education, they won't consider you, since they want commitment. I genuinely think I got rejected from the positions because I said I plan to go back to school in the future.
For CRC positions, it's good to have research experience, but not necessary. It gives something to talk about.

Tell me about your research experience.
Where do you see yourself in the next 5 year?

Interview
I applied online and was contacted appx. 3 weeks later. I met with the supervisor, then with potential coworkers. I was first asked "tell me about yourself" then interviewers moved on to situation based questions. HR followed up with me afterwards regarding next steps.
