I applied online. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Cisco (Bengaluru) in May 2019

      Interview

Applied through online job portal of Cisco. They send me to link to Hackerank coding test. The test consist of 5 algorithmic questions which are very easy. But need to be very fast since we will be having 15 mins for each questions. After that F2F interview happened in cisco bangalore office. The interview was very easy and panellists were asking simple questions only. Everything went well, but they rejected my profile without telling any reason.

      Application

I applied through a recruiter. The process took 6 weeks. I interviewed at Cisco (Ann Arbor, MI) in Aug 2025

      Interview

I interviewed for the Full Stack Developer role for Cisco Duo. Everything was remote and the entire process probably lasted about 4 weeks due to some postponements. The recruiters were pretty helpful and kept me posted on everything throughout the process. It started with a recruiter screening over the phone. The recruiter I first spoke to was incredibly friendly and really easy to talk to. Once the phone screen was finished, it took maybe a couple of weeks to get the ball rolling on interviews. There were several other candidates also interviewing for the position and they held all of these interviews on the same week. One thing that was cool about Cisco was that they actually held some virtual seminars so that candidates could learn more about the company, their employees, different programs they offer, etc. This gave us all a chance to get a much clearer idea of what they are all about. When the interview week came around, it started with a behavioral interview. The two people I met with were also both pretty friendly and they asked me about my background, types of projects I had worked on, etc. I was told beforehand that the biggest mistake people make is not sticking to the STAR method when answering questions. All in all, it was pretty standard. Later that week I had my final interview which was a technical interview. It was also nothing too crazy but my nerves got the best of me and I didn't perform as well as I would have liked. The first question involved looking at code in a language I didn't have any experience in (this was on purpose) and asking me to describe what I thought the code did. The next question involved a variation of the leetcode valid parentheses problem. I got stuck implementing the code although I was able to describe the solution. All in all, the experience was good although I wasn't offered the position.

      Application

I applied through a recruiter. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Cisco (Bengaluru) in Nov 2021

      Interview

May be the reviews are good here, but met the worst and most arrogant interviewer of my life. The interviewer was in dilemma whether I am referring answers online. I had to show him my hand that I am not using my hand or typing anything. You can think with only this that he thinks O(n+n) is not called O(n). He was not knowing the answer himself and only tried to defeat me with his questions because when ever I tried to improve my answer he said, no it is fine and didn't listened to my answer.
