      Applications Team Lead Interview

      29 Jun 2010
      Anonymous interview candidate
      Plano, TX
      No offer
      Negative experience
      Average interview

      Application

The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Cisco (Plano, TX) in Jun 2010

      Interview

I was suprised to find out there was no initial phone interview and had to travel to Plano for a face-to-face interview on a Saturday. Company policy is not to reimburse interview expenses which was a pain considering I had to travel and stay overnight. Once I got there for the interview, I found myself sitting in the break room with several other candidates for differing positions and no matter how much I tried, I felt like a 'number' rather than a potential employee. I interviewed with with 2 practice managers and was fairly standard except there was no sales pitch of the company or questions asking about my aspirations or why I was interested in Infosys. Unfortunately this only increased the feeling of being a number and not a potential employee.
