      Third Level Support Interview

      13 Sept 2010
      Anonymous interview candidate
      No offer
      Positive experience
      Difficult interview

      Application

I applied through a recruiter. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Cisco in Jul 2010

      Interview

first step: phone interview, second step: in person panel interview, third step: return for follow up interview with hiring manger fourth step: wait my overall impression of the group i interviewed for was excellent, it seems like an excellent place to work. the interview process was in depth and very professional, however the decision process took much longer then the hiring manager had stated, and i got very mixed messages from different managers within Cisco. i was interviewing for a level 3 spot and got through the phone interview and the in person group interview, and then the hiring manager called me back in later that week for a quick discussion, in which he said he should make his mind up early next week. waited on pins and needles for over two weeks and i finally got turned down. Over all it would have been easier on my nerves if i had just gotten shot down early on rather then having to wait so long.
