I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Cisco (Hong Kong) in Sept 2010
Interview
I received a phone call asking to set up the times for a series of 4 interviews. Each interview was with a different member of the team. Even though there were some cancellations, they were very professional about it and flexible in finding an accommodating time for me despite the time zone differences. Each interviewer was very friendly and relaxed, like having a general "get to know you" conversation. Although I felt like they were not professional interviewers. Some of the questions seemed ill-formed such as "What would you do if you are working with a factory remotely and you can't solve a problem they are having?" It's such an open ended question, hard to figure out what they specifically wanted for an answer. But it didn't seem to matter because they still liked me in the end. I didn't get any offer because they froze hiring shortly after, so that was disappointing but it was good for interview experience to go through so many interviews.
