The interview process was over the phone and pretty quick. They asked basic questions about goals and intention, more about being aligned with the mission of the company and why you are interested in the position.

Interview
I first applied online - I went to the City Year website and applied to be a City Year Americorps Member in Boston, Massachusetts. From that application, I got a phone call saying that they would like to schedule a phone interview with me - I had about a 30 minute conversation with a City Year recruiter, and then they asked me to come to the City Year Boston Headquarters for an in person interview. About a week later, I got an offer to be a part of City Year Boston.
