The interviewer was incompetent and did not understand the latest tech stack. The interviewer could not understand the basics of the synchronous and asynchronous processes. Also, did not know much about automation framework, TestNG, and version control. Might not be a good place to apply in case you are looking for a challenging opportunity as the team is not clear on what they would want. My suggestion would be to standardize the interview process.
