I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Clarifai
Interview
I applied online. First phone call was super conversational, pretty much just an introductory call to gauge interest and candidacy. I discussed my anticipated start date and it was clearly posted on my resume. From there, I was invited to move onto the second round which was a google hangout call with the CCO. After being asked for my availability for interviews over the course of a two week period, the recruiter picked a day and time which I marked unavailable. After adjusting my schedule to accommodate, the CCO informed me that they were only hiring someone to begin that quarter, not for my discussed start date. It was very clear there was a lack of communication in the organization. I sent my follow up emails and heard nothing back for over two weeks until I received an email stating they moved forward with another candidate.
They asked for my availability, then completely disregarded it. They knew my situation and anticipated start date, as initially seen on the application and discussed on the first call, and they moved me through the process without communicating to me that I wasn't a possible candidate - UNPROFESSIONAL

I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Clarifai (New York, NY)
Interview
BULLET DODGED - I met some amazing people at the company, bbut the senior management (CCO and CEO) are both really RUDE, unprofessional and arbitrary. The did a HORRIBLE job of communicating with me. Read the other reviews and honestly, look for work elsewhere, or you'll be on the job market as soon as you get on-boarded.

Question 1
Seriously, look at all the company reviews before even thinking about applying. Things are not what they seem.
I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Clarifai (New York, NY) in Aug 2016
Interview
I applied online in early August and the entire process took 2.5 weeks. Clarifai held three rounds consisting of an initial phone screening, a phone interview, and an engaging onsite interview. The phone screen and phone interview were both behavioral in nature. The onsite was a great opportunity to show case my critical thinking and public speaking skills.
During the onsite I met with individuals from various teams to learn about their day-to-day, as well as, ask questions about current obstacles or challenges. One round in particular had me working through a case exercise to test pragmatic and critical thinking. Following a couple of rounds, I gave a mock sales pitch to a group of the interviewers. The day concluded with lunch where I had a chance to meet additional members in a laid back environment.
The Clarifai team is an diverse group of friendly, talented, and inspiring individuals. The office was welcoming and spacious, complete with an appropriate work-play-life balance.
