Question 1
What has been your biggest challenge through your degree?
Behavioural questions and motivational questions. i.e. what do you know about Clarksons, why do you want to be a shipbroker ect. And before that it was a pre-recorded interview with four questions.
Applied online to Clarksons and was invited to complete a one-way video interview. This included a few pre-recorded questions focused on motivation (why shipping/broking and Clarksons) and general competency questions.
After this, I had a virtual HR interview lasting around 30–40 minutes. It was conversational, covering my background, interest in the industry, and competencies such as teamwork and handling pressure. The focus was more on communication and cultural fit rather than technical knowledge.
Currently waiting to hear back on next steps, likely an assessment centre.
