The experience so bad, I thought it was a phishing scheme.
The Interviewer sent me an email (not from a company email) to give me a call.
During the phone call she immediately went into my experience from my resume (which was fine) I began explaining what I did with each of my previous companies but she only asked why did I leave my last job each time I explained my job experience and if I left 2 week notices (Which I did) She did not ask any questions about my actual positions. ( and it didn't feel like she listened) She also asked a question that were clearly explained in my resume (what authoring tools did I use)
She then asked for my salary range but said the salary listed for the position (55,000) was non negotiable (please note this salary is below competitiverates). then she asked my salary from previous jobs
She did not go into further explanation about the role (the original job description was very generic) and was unprepared by a question about the company operations that I gathered from reviewing the company website. When I asked about the Learning and development team, she said there are a couple other instructional designers on the team and more trainers. For professional development, they just learn from each other.
This was a very bad impression of the company. I didn't wait to see if I got an offer. Based on this interview, I don't want to work here!
