      Account Executive Interview

      15 Sept 2025
      Anonymous interview candidate
      Toronto, ON
      No offer
      Negative experience
      Average interview

      Application

I applied online. The process took 3 days. I interviewed at Clearco (Toronto, ON) in Aug 2025

      Interview

Got a generic decline email despite positive feedback with the recruiter. The job is still open, I checked the company and realized not the best feedback or reviews. Not sure what the company wants but a screening with hiring manager would have made the better decision.

      Account Executive Interview

      11 Mar 2024
      Anonymous interview candidate
      No offer
      Negative experience
      Difficult interview

      Application

I applied through a recruiter. I interviewed at Clearco in Feb 2024

      Interview

The recruiter reached out to me via email. I did not see the email as it went to my spam folder. She then proceeded to nudge the first email and so it then appeared at the top of my inbox. I replied saying I would love to talk about the opportunity. Radio silence for 4 days. I then nudged the email asking if they had filled the role or were no longer interested. The recruiter got back to me and we scheduled a phone call as she said she was still interested. We then had a phone screening interview. It seemed to go well. She was enthusiastic and giving lots of feedback. At the end of the call I asked for the next steps and she said she would like to move me forward in the process after she got back from her vacation. Again, radio silence. Why reach out if you are just going to ghost? Why make guarantees and then not follow through? Super unprofessional and not courteous. I don't understand. It takes zero effort s to say you are no longer interested or that the role has been filled. THEY reached out to ME initially. Why waste my time at all? Super confusing. I wish recruiters could have more humanity to them. It's frustrating.
