      Affiliate Account Coordinator Interview

      22 Dec 2014
      Anonymous interview candidate
      No offer
      Negative experience
      Easy interview

      Application

I applied online. I interviewed at Clearlink in Nov 2014

      Interview

I applied for an entry level marketing position and heard back from the VP of Talent Services within a week. Scheduled out a phone interview for that same week. About 10 minutes before that call, I received a call and was asked if we could reschedule bc she was busy - rescheduled for later on that week. Once the time came along to talk, I didn't receive a call until 10 minutes after our scheduled time....and it was from a different HR person on behalf of the VP. Call went well and I was told that I would be considered for multiple positions. I then scheduled out an interview with the manager for the following week. The interview went well, spoke to the manager and his team member. I was told that I was going to be considered for the Affiliate Account Coordinator position. Manager mentioned that they were going to finish interviewing another candidate for the position and that I had to complete out an excel project before I would hear back from them within a week's time. Week passed by and I didn't hear back. Followed up with them and was told that they would get back to me after the holiday. After the break, I reached out to them again via but it was to no avail. Finally heard back from the manager a week later. He told me that they wanted to interview some other people but told me that I was one of their top candidates. Emailed the manager back and asked when they would finalize their decision... It's been two weeks since I've sent that email.....and I STILL haven't heard back. ** I was really interested in the opportunity but after going through all of this, I no longer became interested. I moved forward with a different company and I haven't followed up with Clearlink since this last email.

      Interview questions [1]

      Question 1

They asked me a lot of technical questions about marketing. *Explain to me what you know about keyword research, have you ever done it...questions of that sort. Most of the questions were geared towards my skills.
