I applied through other source. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Clever Devices (Woodbury, NY)
Interview
HR contacted me via Linkedin. Had two phone interviews with HR, one phone interview with VP and then a full day of interviews with 7 different people.
There weren't many technical questions. It felt like a conversation, I was trying to find out more about the company and they were trying to find out about my background.

Interview
The process was all over the phone. I have spoken with HR person first then spoke with 2 Engineers who are currently working for Clever Devices. Overall the phone conversations were anywhere between 15 to 45 mins. Got an email that conversations were "OK" but I was not the person selected.

Question 1
Have you got experience on a database? Explain why you would like to work for CD?
Thank you for taking the time to share your comments. We do have a fairly stringent interview process which we feel allows us to identify the right talent for our organization. We do our best to respect a candidates time, which is why the first 2 steps are typically phone interviews.
I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Clever Devices (Miami, FL)
Interview
Clever Devices' HR contacted me from an application I put in through LinkedIn. They scheduled a phone interview which went smoothly and well. Next they scheduled two more interviews; a phone one and an in person one. The HR team was very helpful with scheduling interviews that worked with my schedule. The second interview was a phone one which again asked me to explain my background and had some behavioral questions. The third interview was an in person interview that also asked me to elaborate on the work I had been involved in. HR quickly responded within a couple of days after the third interview to schedule me to go visit their headquarters in NY. They booked the flight, hotel and transportation for the visit. Three days before the trip they sent me an email stating that the position had already been filled. The abrupt change in plans was strange considering they had been organized up to that point. Something was internally fishy about this last minute announcement. It didn't sound genuine. I would suggest them being better organized to not waste potential employees times.
