CC is the only Magic Circle law firm frequently and consistently advertising this position for day and evening shift. What started as advertisements for full-time contracts has now turned into 12-month contracts. I was sent the same two assessments for both roles. I am highly experienced and completed the assessments without difficulty. Both times, no feedback, interview or offer. No response to follow ups. I was disillusioned as to why then I received an email confirming the base salary of “early 20sk” and an out of hours addition of £3750 - for evening and weekends! This is worse than what I was offered with zero experience as a trainee proofreader 10 years ago. No wonder high turnover. Absolutely terrible recruitment and reward.
