I applied online. The process took 6 weeks. I interviewed at Co-operators (Toronto, ON) in Feb 2025
Interview
Three step process, first met with recruiter, then panel of three interviewers for 1.5 hours, then had to do a presentation and mock training session followed by Q&A for another 1 hour meeting.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
They asked for scenarios that aligned with key competencies they were looking for. Questions were a bit convoluted and complex, did not feel accessible or human.
I applied through an employee referral. I interviewed at Co-operators (Calgary, AB) in May 2025
Interview
Was called from a hiring manager at Co-operators about the position and given info to apply. I did. From application to interview was short. 1 hour call first then a 2 person panel interview. The questions were somewhat twisted - like trying to trip you up instead of asking regular case study examples. I asked a question at the end and was kinda mocked about it so asked nothing further. Was told I would be advised of decision the following week. Nothing. Weeks went by until I contacted them and it was confirmed they had hired internally and just never let me know.
