First interview was a 10 min phone screen. I was informed that this was a one and done interview process in person. Next was an in-person interview where I met 3 potential candidates in the waiting room, we got a tour of the offices. Then each candidate was paired with two product managers for a one hour interview. This consisted of talking through different product concepts and experiences. After this interview was a 30 min behavior interview with a representative from HR. When I left the next group of product candidates were being herded in. This was my first experience with a process like this. My first thought was I liked that it respected my time. Later I have wondered if it gave me the same opportunity to express myself. I am assuming each group of interviewers used some type of scoring system.
I did ask each interviewer about the slumping reviews on glassdoor. The product group was surprised hearing about the reviews and said they hadn't seen affect to teams internally. The HR rep said that they have shared this with leadership and their leadership was surprised by this. Each attributed it to the Agile transformation that is ongoing for 18 months.
