I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at CoStar Group (Washington, DC) in Apr 2011
Interview
The initial phone screen took about 20 minutes. It was more of an informative call, tell candidates what the position entails, what they are looking for, and the interview process if you make it to the second round. The questions were the usual generic types: what are your goals, why do you think you are qualified for the position, what are your future plans (it seems like there is no real career growth opportunities with this role, although their website shows a flowchart showing your potential career path starting as a research associate).
The 1:1 interview took about an hour. The interviewer (manager) had a form which had questions and she basically just asked each one in order. "Give me 3 examples of XXX, 3 examples of XXX, 3 examples of XXX." She did not seem too enthused for the interview. I don't blame her, she seemed pretty busy that day. However, I am not from D.C. and had to travel for the interview. She seemed nice but I never got a call back or reply back from her.
About a month and a half later (I had given up on them by now) I got an email (from the person I conducted the phone interview with) that I did not get the position.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Nothing too difficult, just have lots of "examples" ready because there were a couple questions where I couldn't think of 4 examples of a particular situation and how I reacted.
I applied online. I interviewed at CoStar Group (Richmond, VA)
Interview
Extremely lengthy. 4 stages over about 2 months. Panel interview that took 6 hours. One panelist did not show and added another interview stage. Due to length, I found a better offer and declined after finally getting to an offer.

Question 1
I was asked about recruitment processes. Follow the status quo or define a new SOP?
I applied through university. I interviewed at CoStar Group (London, England)
Interview
The interview was very professional and they really need you to know the role and company inside out they want a background on your experience as well and im not sure what else
Basic interview, that lasted one or two instances. Shadowed researcher and made some calls with the interviewer. The whole process was quick and lasted less than a month, average difficulty overall for the process.
