A recruiter reached out to me to complete a cognitive assessment which is completing 50 reasoning questions within a 25 minute block and also gave me a writing assessment to complete. I was invited for a recruiter call but got rejected not sure why because I thought it went well but they look for people who are really interested in fintech.

Interview
Round 1: get to know you with recruiter
Round 2: talk with group lead
This role was for an internal APM working in their business group. The second round interview consisted 100% in the group PM lead asking me about a favorite product and product-level discussion around it.
The recruiter 100% failed to mentioned this and made the interview unbearable. Had I know I'd be asked about a favorite product I would have thought much more deeply around this and focused fire.
The process took 2 days. I interviewed at Coinbase (New York, NY) in Nov 2023
Interview
Recruiter screening was standard - heavy emphasis on Coinbase values. The recruiter didn't seem very crypto native and did not really ask much about blockchain / crypto products as a whole.
