Process: Phone Interview > Technical Test (Coding) > Onsite Interview with Mobile Team Lead
I was interviewed at the Coin square HQ in downtown. I was able to answer all of the questions but didn't get any offers.
I applied online. The process took 1+ week. I interviewed at Coinsquare (Toronto, ON) in Oct 2018
Interview
I met Coinsquare at an open house event, told them my interests and submitted my resume for an iOS developer position. After submission, Coinsquare sent me a quick iOS challenge to complete related to working with reddit's API and fetching data to display. I was then called for an in person interview with the iOS Product Manager. The interview was very relaxed as we talked about different iOS architectures, unit testing, and accessibility. We then went over the challenge code where I had to justify certain architecture design decisions. End of the interview was questions about myself. Overall the interview took ~1h, hiring managers were very quick with their replies and coordinating interview times, and the product manager conducting the interview was very respectful.
