College of Southern Nevada interview questions

The interview felt relaxed, conversational, and very welcoming. The interviewer was kind, attentive, and clear about expectations, which made the whole process feel low-pressure, supportive, and genuinely encouraging overall today.

Two interviews. The first was a panel interview in person. The panel asked basic questions, but didn’t seem interested in learning more about me as there were no follow up questions. The interview lasted only about 1/2 hour which included my questions. I wasn’t given a good description of the hiring process in terms of next steps. In between the first and second interviews, my references were contacted without my prior knowledge. I like to give my references a heads up if I’m interviewing for a position and there’s interest. Typically reference aren’t contacted until the end of the interview process. Second interview consisted of the hiring manager and a board member. Again, they didn’t seem interested in my qualifications. They also had an issue with my needing to give 2 weeks notice to my current employer (newsflash this is standard if not more than 2 weeks). They also asked about what my thoughts were about DEI. Doesn’t have anything to do with the job. Personally, I think they already had a candidate in mind for the job.
