Collins Aerospace interview questions

HireVue Digital Interview (15-20min), then a panel interview with the hiring manager, senior engineer, and operations / quality manager (1 hour). The HireVue interview was 9 total questions (3 video questions, 2 written, 3 multiple choice, and 1 multiple selection) and was pretty easy. Just behavioral questions and answering questions about the job description. The panel was difficult in general, including standard behavioral questions and various interesting ‘get to know you as a person’ questions. Such as “tell me about a time you had to solve a problem in one of your hobbies”

The interview process was very straightforward and well organized. The interviewer spent time discussing my background, professional experience, and the details of my resume. We went through my previous roles, responsibilities, and accomplishments, allowing me to explain how my skills and experiences relate to the position. In addition, I was asked several questions about my prior experience with Information and Technology (I&T), including the projects I had worked on, the technologies I had used, and how I approached problem-solving in technical environments. The conversation felt more like a professional discussion than an interrogation, and it provided a good opportunity to highlight my qualifications and relevant experience. Overall, the interview was clear, focused, and easy to follow.
