The initial interviews and contact came from a recruiter who had an exclusive assignment to fill the SVP position. Following several conversations from the recruiter who screened my background a phone interview was established with the head of HR which lasted about an hour and focused on the details of my resume. Following the phone interview a face to face interview was scheduled for an hour with the head of HR. The recruiter suggested that the interviewing process would be a difficult one. In fact, the interview lasted for three hours and consisted mostly of the HR exec asking me to ask her questions. It appears the company has a very distinct culture, stemming from the CEO and founder's highly focused performance driven personality.
