      Interview

Long and slow, the HR will give you a different message from what will actually happen when you start working. Even when to confront them with something they gave you in writing they will state that's old information.

      Coach Operator Interview

      24 Aug 2017
      Anonymous interview candidate
      Everett, WA
      No offer
      Negative experience
      Average interview

      Application

I applied online. I interviewed at Community Transit (Everett, WA) in Jul 2014

      Interview

Lengthy, protracted, and painful. This company prefers to hire people WITHOUT previous commercial driving experience; everything I've heard about Community Transit from people who've worked there (other than part-time) is that they are very hard on their employees. I have interviewed at least three times for CT in the last eleven years and they've declined to hire me even though I've never had a commercial accident or moving violation in over 21 years with a Class A CDL ( w/ P-1 passenger endorsement) and my 5-year complete driving is 100% clear. One more thing I deem noteworthy: As a professional, I have observed that some of Community Transit's driver are pretty good, but the vast majority are hack amateurs. Btw- all their CT and Sound Transit commuter routes are contracted to First Transit America, whose drivers' operate poorly maintained equipment for 1/3rd less money and piss-poor benefits with ALL the same risks and responsibilities. Goddamn Community Transit to H E L L .
