      Senior Civil Engineer Interview

      20 Feb 2025
      Anonymous employee
      Accepted offer
      Positive experience
      Difficult interview

      Application

I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Concrete4Change in Sept 2024

      Interview

I had my interview process with concrete4change around Sept-Oct 2024. I got an initial call with the CEO Sid first as an informal meet-up, which was a very nice interaction and introduction to the company. I was given a case study to submit in 1 week. It was a research based exercise, which in retrospect, is very important to gauge the way you think and what kind of topics you will be exposed to at the company. Shortly after submitting my response, I was invited to the company for a formal interview (they offer to cover all expenses). I was able to spend the day shadowing an employee to get exposed to the type of work and environment. Within 2 weeks, I received my offer, and shortly after, a video call with the CEO and CTO (Sid and Michael) to discuss my offer and plan. While it was a tough interview process, it was fair and very interactive, and having been at C4C for almost 4 months now, I see that this process is crucial to keep a high level of performance within the company and an exemplary attitude.

      Interview questions [1]

      Question 1

The case study involved topics on SCMs, hydration of concrete and its effect on porosity, and the evolution of hydration mechanisms of cement.
