Conserve Consultants interview questions

I applied for the position through mail and I was told that they had gone through my profile and I was shortlisted for a telephonic interview the next day. I waited, I didn't receive a call. I had called them the next day to ask if I'd be recieving the telephonic interview call sometime soon. They told me they were going to reschedule it the forthcoming week. I waited the whole next week for a call that I didn't receive. Then I called them again. This process repeated every week for the next 6 weeks. I waited like a fool for a whole month putting on hold my other offers because I really wanted to work here and they kept me on the line, telling me that the interview would definitely be conducted. After 7 weeks, I was told that the position was filled up and that there would be no interview for me because they had already selected a candidate and that I was only the 'backup', just in case the candidate they selected didn't accept the job. This had been by far been the most unprofessional behaviour I had encountered with any private organisation. They kept me, a candidate with a decent profile who would have gone on to pursue jobs in other companies had they told me in first place that I was not selected, hanging on to them by a thread for their benefit and in the end made a fool out of me. I really hope that no other professional has to ever be a victim of such terrible HR practices. Before applying here, think twice if you would really want to be a part of an organisation with these unprofessional mavericks who have the audacity to treat potential candidates like dogs. My review is in no reference to the green design and consultancy work done by conserve, just it's HR practices.
