I applied online and was emailed directly by the hiring manager about a week later. I came in the day of the interview and met with Keith (an owner and VP), who was passionate and easy to talk to. He appeared to be getting a feel for whether or not I was a good culture fit for the company in general. Talking with him about his passion for the company, and getting the opportunity to talk about why I was excited about the opportunity really took the edge off before the technical interview that followed.
The technical interview was with the hiring manager and the entire software team. I was asked to solve some basic algorithmic problems out loud, some technical C++ questions, and then we discussed my background; it was a good opportunity for the team to see how I go about solving problems. Afterwards we went to lunch, and I got a tour around the office. It was one of the most relaxing interviews I've been to, simply because of the process structure in general. They aren't looking to trip you up or make you look foolish, they simply want to understand your methods, and get to know you as an individual. I was very impressed.
