The hiring process was an art test they ask you to do , if you succeeded that you would be asked to come in for an interview.
The interview process was about 2.5 hours. I admit I messed up my answers on a few questions but if I didn't know the answer I would say.
I felt like if I didn't know the answer I was spoken to in a condescending tone.
One manager couldn't stop tapping their pen on a pad all the way through the interview,
I'm not sure if it was a tactic to look as miserable as possible but noone hardly smiled in the interview. About 20 minutes in they clearly showed me that the company doesn't seem to have a happy environment by the expressions on everyone's faces. I'm a smily person, it was very hard to keep a smile on my face when the other person looks dead inside.
In office jokes were thrown around in the interview between the managers and I felt like I wasn't there.
I originally thought it was me perceiving the situation wrong but after seeing similar reviews it confirmed my feelings when I left. I'm a polite friendly person and the interview just gave me a very strange feeling.
Not a good reflection of the game industry.
