The interview process was quite thorough and lasted around 5 weeks. Here's how it went:
Initial Interview with HR: The first interview was with the HR department. It was conducted in both English and Spanish, with questions assessing both language proficiency and general qualifications.
Second Interview with Logistics Manager: I then had a fully Spanish interview with the logistics manager, Vivina. This interview was more focused on logistics-specific topics and required a strong understanding of the field.
Team Interview: The third interview was with two individuals who I would be working with or reporting to. This session was fully in Spanish, and the questions were a mix of teamwork dynamics, day-to-day responsibilities, and problem-solving scenarios.
Final Interview and Excel Test: The last step of the process was with an HR performance person, where I was required to complete an Excel assignment. The test involved:
Creating Pivot Tables with different columns of categories.
Using VLOOKUP to match data.
Combining two columns (first name and last name) into one.
Completing an =IF equation.
The Excel test was entirely in Spanish, timed, and I had to share my screen while completing the tasks as someone watched.
Post-Interview:
It took a while to hear back after completing all the interviews and the exam.
Notes from the Interview:
During my interview with the logistics manager, it was emphasized that the environment would be fast-paced, and it’s common to work after hours.
