Sent them a detailed CV and a cover letter, focusing on the areas they mentioned in their ad. As being a non native I didn't give myself a good chance but I was invited for interview. I have 8+ years experience in EFL sector. It took approx. 45 mins and most of the time was about explaining the school system in which I earned my MA (3) and did my PhD. They don't have any clue about language teaching in Europe outside Ireland (and Spain of course) and only familiar with the British exams. There were no questions about my achievements or way of teaching, or administration process. I bet it would have been different if I'd been a native. (BTW it is NOT a teaching position, only placement testing etc. and mostly QA document fillings and lesson planning.) After 5 mins I was proudly informed that only natives work there so it was not a surprise that I was not hired. There were a huge number of applicants and interviews and I just saw the position advertised again...they must have great expectations... Oh and promised a feedback in a week which actually took 3,5...
