I applied online. I interviewed at Covenant House Michigan
Interview
The interview process consisted of a Zoom interview with the hiring manager and a second in-person interview with the management team. The second interview was thorough and I left with the understanding they I would learn within the next week or two of the decision. The interview process was fine, however I would STRONGLY recommend that after a process like this that the hiring manager reach out to the interviewee to let them know that they're not moving forward with candidacy. I received a clearly canned, automated email from their hiring platform letting me know that the application process was now closed. No other feedback or personal contact from the team, although I made it to a panel interview. They also did not respond to outreach asking for feedback. I found this concerning, especially for an organization that is social services based, and for a position that was meant to increase donor dollars and general support for the mission. Unfortunate communication choice.

Question 1
What would be your initial steps when creating a fundraising plan?
I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Covenant House Michigan in Nov 2022
Interview
Applied online, received a call from the HR director to schedule a screening. After the HR screening, I was scheduled to have a screening with the hiring manager the ED. During that conversation the ED shared that there had been quite a bit of turnover since she was hired. I asked about revenue breakdown and she didn't have the information readily available and suggested she could get back to me. About a day and a half later I received a generic rejection email. That was around the middle of November, but now it is 2023 and I notice the position is promoted again.
