I had an interview this past Friday with the CEO and Co-Founder of the company.
Overall the interview went well in my favor, however it is was a bit obvious that the owner did not take any courses on proper interviewer etiquette as it was clear my impression was positive and phrases similar to "good answer" was used.
The interviewer was tardy to the appointment without communicating that they would be late. I had to inquire if the interview was still happening.
I received a letter offer the day of but it was rescinded due to my not adding in my address to the offer letter. This is the first occurance where I had to fill out my own offer letter. Usually the employer uses the details on your resume to fill in the offer.
Also the job title and description was inaccurate as they were looking for a Contract Administrator not an AR/AP Clerk. Based on emails back and fourth the job duties and responsibilities was also wrong. There was no mention of contract creation, reviewing, and submission listed within the job description.
I would not recommend applying to this company. I feel as if I dodged a bullet as if they treat applicants this way I can only imagine how they treat their employees.
This is the first time I wasn't hired due to not filling in my own address on my own letter offer.
