      Mechanical Engineer Interview

      9 Jan 2019
      Anonymous interview candidate
      Rockleigh, NJ
      Declined offer
      Positive experience
      Easy interview

      Application

I applied through university. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Crestron Electronics (Rockleigh, NJ) in Jan 2019

      Interview

Short phone interview with HR. Asked basic questions (expected salary, if I was interviewing anywhere else, what my ideal job was). Second step was a 30 min Skype interview with 2 hiring managers. One manager described the job to me and what their department does. The other manager focused on my skills and experiences. I was then invited to do an on-site interview with the same hiring managers. It took an hour and a half and consisted of a tour of the facility. Mainly talked more about my experiences and interests, why the company interested me. Was shown a lot of their products and got to learn a lot more about what they do and the industry.

      Mechanical Engineer Interview

      19 Aug 2015
      Anonymous employee
      Rockleigh, NJ
      Accepted offer
      Positive experience
      Average interview

      Application

I applied through an employee referral. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Crestron Electronics (Rockleigh, NJ) in Jan 2013

      Interview

Basic interview process. One round with three people. They asked basic questions and it was pretty painless. They had a good understanding that it was just an intern position and that an intern wouldn't have the best answers to the questions.
