During the recruitment process at Cricket.com, I went through five rounds of interviews. Despite the extensive nature of these interviews, at no point was it communicated that mandatory extra late working hours would be expected daily. Additionally, I was not informed that there would be no weekend off, with only random days off in between, which was not clarified during any of the interview discussions. Upon joining, it became apparent that leaving on time, even after completing a 10-hour on-site shift, was met with unwarranted pressure and a sense of humiliation, creating a challenging and unsupportive work environment.
