      Ruby On Rails Developer Interview

      18 Nov 2016
      Anonymous interview candidate
      No offer
      Negative experience
      Difficult interview

      Application

I applied online. I interviewed at Crossover for Work

      Interview

After applying to a RoR position that pays 15 dollars an hour, which is extremely under the market price even for junior devs, they ask me to do a multiple choice test. Cool, I did that. Then they sent me a very vague project to develop a web app that can SSH into a remote server and check on the processes, CPU usage, etc. Which implies I needed to set up a server to test it. And 3 days to do it. Honestly, by the time I started, I realize it as not worth the extremely low pay. They need to re-think their projects. Nobody is going to go through all this trouble for 15 dollars an hour.

      Question 1

      A lot of Linux questions.
