The process took 2 months. I interviewed at CrowdStrike in Nov 2023
Interview
Extremely thorough, with standard frontend-related, mostly JS questions, but be as detailed and thorough as you can. Best recruiter I've had, super consistent and gives straightforward information, no mixed messages.

Question 1
Medium - advanced JS, HTML, CSS and threw in some cybersecurity questions as well. No Leetcode
I applied through an employee referral. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at CrowdStrike in Feb 2022
Interview
I applied at CS via an employee referral. The full timeline from when I submitted my application to when I signed my offer letter was 2 months. However, there were some unique circumstances that caused it to take longer than usual, so I'd expect it's much faster for most. All steps were done remotely over Zoom.
The process:
1. Interview with manager- the usual "getting to know you and the role" back-and-forth, but wasn't just an informational interview as I was also asked some technical knowledge questions
2. Interview with 2 engineers- more in-depth discussion on the role, department, company, and values, as well as my experience and workflow. Very thought-provoking questions
3. Take-home code challenge- this was the only technical interview/code challenge I did out of dozens of interviews that was both relevant to the actual job and not just designed to weed people out. I was very impressed by it and actually enjoyed it
4. Code review with 2 engineers- Review of my take-home, discussed further development. Pretty casual and comfortable, talked through a bit of pseudo code but no whiteboarding
5. Final interview with hiring manager- informational interview, mostly getting to know the specifics of the team, what I'd be working on, training, the tech stack, etc.
6. Offers- Verbal offer, written offer, and extensive background check
The recruiter I worked with throughout the whole process was extremely helpful and communicative. It was a fantastic interview experience, and I couldn't have been more thrilled to accept the job offer!
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Can't provide specifics due to NDA, but the questions in each round were extremely thoughtful, intentional, important, and reasonable. No "what's your greatest weakness" or fizzbuzz nonsense, it was all highly relevant to the job and great for determining values/culture fit.
I was SO impressed with the interviewing questions, it was unlike any interview I'd had before (engineering or otherwise), and it's what convinced me that this was the place I want to be.
I applied online. The process took 5 weeks. I interviewed at CrowdStrike in Nov 2021
Interview
Company kept rescheduling, finally got an interview with hiring manager, then interview with a couple of engineers, and then was given a project to complete within 4hours. Completed what I could in the allotted time and was then given a standard copy/paste rejection email from someone I’ve never even communicated with, with absolutely no feedback whatsoever. Took a month of my time and for someone with no income, that was an eternity. I don’t recommend this company based of this horrible recruiting process; the worse I’ve seen in years.
