30 minute phone screen followed by 60 minute video call. During the 60 minute interview the person that had been described to me as the head of the unit and the person I’d be reporting to told me she was leaving at the end of the week. I was very confused as to why they wanted me to talk to her. I concluded the process wasn’t efficient and ended the interview after 15 minutes. I don’t have time to waste for run of the mill roles that are easy to get.

Applied online for an HR Intern position, made it past the phone interview and the one-on-one interview and was told I will be contacted for the next step. Received a phone call and was told I did not get the position because I was pursing my graduate degree (Masters) in HR and they are looking for someone that is pursing their Associates or Bachelors in HR. I was irritated that I had wasted my time going through the process while they knew that they wanted someone with an undergrad degree.
