The hiring process at Curamando takes an average of 70 days when considering 1 user submitted interviews across all job titles. Candidates applying for Product Consulting had the quickest hiring process (on average 70 days), whereas Product Consulting roles had the slowest hiring process (on average 70 days).
Very easy, 3 steps of in person meetings. There also was a task that you had to present within a week. Everyone was positive and very attentive, the task was measured to assess your way of working rather than the results
The process took 2+ months. I interviewed at Curamando (Stockholm, Stockholm) in Jul 2022
Interview
Process started first week of July and wrapped up within a week after 2 rounds of interview (1 case, 1 fit) with 2 people on the product consulting team.
Received a soft offer and we negotiate. I am told I will receive the final offer before summer break but no updates. Summer ends, I follow up to request details and am asked to hop on a call. Have a phone conversation and am asked "what I thought of the offer before summer" and we have the same conversation all over again and negotiate again.
A week later, I get the revised offer which is marginally higher (and significantly lower than my current salary) than previous offer with little-to-no rationale even though my current salary fell comfortably within the band for the role.
I am then asked to come in to meet the team once again. Burn one more hour in the room talking about the expectations they have and how we can work together. After the conversation, I am told "we will get back to you in a few days" (after already giving me an offer). 3 weeks pass and I follow up multiple times but no response. Finally, call out of desperation and am told I will receive a call with an update asap. Receive an email instead 3 days later, which says they can no longer extend an offer.
In summary the process lasted 10 weeks, during which I had to follow up repeatdly to request updates (no HR was involved), was led to believe an offer was forthcoming and finally told it wasn't. The whole process was a giant waste of time, not to mention significantly draining mentally.
Hallmarks of the process were non-existent communication and lack of empathy (while I was being sold on the "people first" culture in the team). Perhaps a one-off but the experience was utterly awful. I don't believe the rest of the company operates this way since I spoke to other people and they seemed happy. I would think twice before joining the Product Consulting team though, since they seem so out of touch with the candidate experience.
