      Sales Representative Interview

      15 Oct 2015
      Anonymous interview candidate
      Los Angeles, CA
      No offer
      Negative experience
      Easy interview

      Application

I applied online. The process took 3 days. I interviewed at Cyberactive (Los Angeles, CA) in Sept 2015

      Interview

I usually do not write reviews but this interview was so awful that I thought I could possibly help someone from avoiding interviewing and taking a job here. Spoke with HR, very nice person. It was an advertised K-12 sales job for 18-20 per hour. The CEO walks in the interview and right away seems directionless, confused and odd. She doesn't look at my resume and says, "Can you start working here and try it for a week?" I told her no, that's not exactly how the job was advertised or presented. She said, "Oh, you need more of a commitment." Seriously? I read the other review of a person who worked there and it fit very closely to what I suspected. Very weird CEO that seemed to not know what was going on. If I hadn't needed the job I would have left but dreaded actually thinking of working there. No benefits....she didn't seem to be embarrassed to this was the case. She flipflopped back and worth as to what hours, pay, schedule or direction. She didn't seem to know where the company would move or when. In the end I didn't get the offer. It's probably best....it looked like a disaster waiting to happen.
