I first interviewed with the recruiter who was very nice to me throughout the process. I enjoyed meeting with the hiring manager who was the SVP and most of the executives at the company. The issue I have is that they required me to interview with 9 executives, why not just have me give a speech to the entire company at that point? Also, I was frustrated by a comment the CEO said to me, "Well you wouldn't have been laid off if you were hitting your goals, right?" Excuse me? While I congratulate you on your success in building a strong company, that shows your disconnect from the tech world. Also, the position required 5 days in office per week and the pay was low compared to my previous positions. They have 1 elevator/exit in the office which is comically consistent with the micromanagement vibes I picked up while touring the office. It seems like they have a big fish small pond mentality and I've seen them fire people with short notice.
