Crap company with crap recruiters! Their recruiter from the Philippines approached me via Linkedin for the CRM Analytics Director role based in Hong Kong. I told her there is no strong match with my background. Yet she insisted me to send her my detailed cv and to brief me about the role. After sending my cv, and WITHOUT confirming any appointment in advance, they wanted to call me out of the blue for an abrupt phone interview, which I find is very ineffective for the HR dept of such big international company. And of course I missed their phonecall for the unconfirmed phone interview, after which they contacted me again by email to make an appointment for a phone interview a few days later with their recruiter in Hong Kong. But then on the agreed day itself, they didn't call at all!!! No communication that it was canceled whatsoever and have not heard from them ever since. What a crap company!!! Does not even seem capable of organizing such simple interview arrangement properly. Make me really wonder what exactly they are capable of handling. I end up canceling my DFS VIP membership due to this poor experience with their recruiters, as I was member of the DFS Loyal T programme. No way I will buy again at DFS!!! These HR idiots will never understand that brand ambassedorship is a cross-department responsibility and that every candidate could be an existing customer!
