The hiring process is fairly simple. They usually call a week or two after you apply online depending on the stores needs (best bet to apply during the summer months). Then they will call to setup an interview. My first interview lasted about an hour or so and they just asked the basic questions of "why Dick Sporting Good?" and "Give me an example of when you went above and beyond the call to help someone?"" Then after the interview they don't call back if you did not get the position. I then applied to another store same position, got another interview, they asked the same generic questions but a little more in-depth about sports equipment like types of high school and college baseball bats and the different technology that goes into them, and since I knew that I literally got hired on the spot only because I knew about sports since I played them in high school.
