Applied through the DIT internal platform, was followed up with an interview over MS teams. The interview took a little over 35-40 minutes and started with them asking why I had applied to the role. They then described the general culture at the office and the role, and asked 2 competency based questions with regards to the role. As many have mentioned previously, I found the whole process to be very quick and I got the feeling that they had already hired someone internally and went through this process to fill some quota. The interview itself was not very hard and although I had prepared extensively (this is somewhat of a dream job for me) I was disappointed in how uninterested they seemed in knowing more about my past and previous roles. Waited about two weeks and received an email explaining my application was not successful. All in all, a waste of my time and probably theirs. Disappointed to say the least.
