      Full Stack Web Developer Interview

      8 Jul 2025
      Anonymous employee
      North York, ON
      Accepted offer
      Positive experience
      Average interview

      Application

I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at DMSolving (North York, ON) in Jan 2025

      Interview

I had a very smooth and professional interview experience with DMSolving. The initial phone call focused on my background, current tech stack, and interest in the role. The interviewer was friendly and asked thoughtful questions about my past projects and how I approach full stack development. In the second round, I was given a technical task that reflected real-world work, which was a clear test of practical skills. I appreciated that they cared more about how I think and solve problems than just checking off keywords. What stood out was how respectful and communicative the team was throughout the process. They outlined the next steps clearly and followed up when they said they would. The conversation felt balanced, and I had a chance to ask questions too. It gave me a good sense of what working with the team would actually be like. One more thing was that the boss’s direct and assertive communication style. He’s very goal-oriented and expects results, which I personally find motivating. It’s clear he takes the business seriously and pushes the team to deliver their best. If you’re someone who thrives under strong leadership, this environment could be a great fit. Overall, a positive experience that made me feel heard, challenged, and respected.
