An unprofessional and distasteful interview process. Here's my story when applying for a BDR position at DNS Networks: (1) I made it past the 1st initial screening with the VP of business development; (2) I made it past the 2nd interview with the CEO; (3) I received a verbal confirmation via a phone call that I have been accepted for the position; (4) I wasn't given an assignment where I had to complete and submit a 30-day and 60-day sales plan; (5) I submitted the 30-day and 60-day sales plan and was told I did an excellent job; (6) 1 week later I was told via email there was a internal hiring freeze; (7) they are no longer hiring for the BDR position. I was just ghosted after submitting the 30-day and 60-day sales plan! Just be honest and transparent with the applicants and inform them the team has decided to proceed with another applicant. It's simple. Don't ghost applicants after giving verbal confirmation of a job offer and submission of a 30-day and 60-day sales plan.
