I was contacted by the recruiting team there, and had a couple of good phone conversations with them. We moved forward to the interview process, in person. I first met with who would be my reporting Manager and had a good dialogue around goals, alignment, etc. I was then invited back ~ a week later to interview with two people on the team and a parallel Director. I thought the discussions went pretty well and was told I would be contacted by the recruitment team for next steps.
Then, nothing. No email, call, letter. I contacted the recruiting manger three additional times looking for next steps, and on the final one I simply requested feedback about what I could have done or better answers I could have provided so that I could learn from the process. Still, nothing.
I can live with not getting the role- either there's a fit or there isn't. But I'm disappointed to have spent as much time as I did and not even receive a "no thank you" or polite explanation of what they were looking for they didn't think I offered. I believe that businesses that act with integrity treat every contact as valuable, even the ones they don't move forward with. It was a disappointing end to what had otherwise been a well structured and relatively fast interview process.
