The interview process was hands down one of the most extensive and difficult yet fair processes I've been through. Databricks was incredibly thorough in their process. By the end, it was clear they knew me inside and out as a candidate - and conversely, I felt the same way about the Customer Success team. I was contacted by a recruiter on LinkedIn. Following a brief introductory call with the recruiter, there was a standard 30-minute, walk me through your resume type interview. After that, there were two more 30-minute on-site type interviews that were back to back with people on the Customer Success team. Following that, Databricks provided me with a take-home coding assessment completed in the Community Edition of the product. Following those discussions and the coding assignment, there was another on-site type interview session. This consisted of a 45-minute interview with someone from the Customer Success team and a 30-minute cross functional interview with someone from another group. Following those discussions, there was one additional 30-minute interview with the VP of Customer Success. After all that, Databricks asked me to construct a roughly one hour long presentation and present to a group of five or so people from the Customer Success team. The recruiting team was incredibly responsive and informative throughout the whole process. They were very transparent as well, keeping me informed of exactly what the next steps were and what I could expect. Overall, this was one of, if not the best conducted end to end interview processes from start to finish. Incredibly difficult, but fair and extensive from end to end!
