I applied through a recruiter. I interviewed at Datadog
Interview
The interview process was pretty typical. Meet with the recruiter, followed by the hiring manager. The recruiter gave some tough questions, so it is clear they're looking for the best of the best.
I applied through a recruiter. I interviewed at Datadog (New York, NY)
Interview
it was a solid process. The team was very communicative and understanding and involved in the process. However, the interview was very long and they had us doing work that mirrors what an actual employee would do. Creating presentations and sharing real ideas which took days to work on feels like free labor.

I applied online. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at Datadog (New York, NY) in Oct 2021
Interview
2-3 behavioral interviews followed by a case study presentation. I was given a week or two to complete the case study. Case study presentation was attended to by 3-4 panelists that conducted Q&A. I was ghosted afterwards.
This entire process happened again with another position I applied to at DDOG within a similar timeframe. Ghosted both times.
