Datadog Commercial/Sales Engineer interview questions

I was referred to this role and then had a recruiter reach out to me. I had a call with the recruiter and a few days later had another call with the hiring manager. After the call with the hiring manager I was sent a hackerrank assessment to complete. I completed that but never heard back after. I reach out to the recruiter twice but no response.

I was referred via an old co-worker and the hiring manager reached out via LinkedIn and gave me an informal interview. The interview went well and he told me he would move me to the next round, but then I never heard from him or the recruiting team. I had to ask my old co-worker who told me they were waiting for other candidates to move forward and then if they weren't a good fit I'd move forward. This contradicted what the hiring manager told me in the intereview
