I applied through other source. The process took 4 days. I interviewed at David's Bridal (Portland, OR) in Feb 2018
Interview
It was easy and brief. I was asked to sew a sample. They were hard-balling a low wage. This is the amount I was paid at Nordstrom in 1993. But it is a fun environment to be in, a positive influence. I don't think they hire any full time employees, except for the managers.
I had interview with store manager, but the part that actually counted was the sew test with the alteration manager. Which was a simple test which was hemming a chiffon dress
I applied in-person. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at David's Bridal (Charlotte, NC) in Jul 2022
Interview
The hiring manager just read off basic interview questions from a sheet, quite impersonal and unengaging. After I answered each of the questions, the hiring manager would tell me their answer, as if my answer was wrong? There was also a mandatory sewing test, but this was unnecessary as they didn't bother to contact me at all after.
