The interview process itself was quite simple, but the experience with the HR representative, Ms. Connie, was very unprofessional.
She sent me documents to fill in via WhatsApp on Friday afternoon, and I submitted them back within a reasonable timeframe on Monday morning. However, instead of understanding the situation, she scolded me for not being prompt in my responses and for not providing timely updates during the weekend, then informed me that the position was already full.
A few weeks later, she contacted me again for another interview and pressured me to attend the very next day. It honestly felt like the recruitment process was being rushed due to headcount issues.
What disappointed me the most was the lack of professionalism and communication. Even when I politely asked simple questions, such as the name of the exam, Ms. Connie seemed unwilling or too lazy to answer. I’m not sure whether she genuinely could not provide the information or simply did not want to.
I value the company itself, so I tried not to judge the company entirely based on one HR representative. However, experiences like this can leave candidates with a very bad impression.
To the management please consider hiring more professional HR staff, because candidates’ first impression of a company often comes from the HR team.
